A powerful wizard sorcerer from the mystical realm threatens to plunge Earth into eternal death/darkness. To stop the sorcerer from demolishing life on Earth, the player must journey to a new world’s dungeon levels in The Labyrinth of Shadows to defeat all bosses and save humanity.
In the game, the player first lands in the new world’s village as a heroic sword fighter. As they enter the village’s mystical underground dungeon, they will have to confront, battle, and win against an emergence of goblins and the final level’s evil wizard within 3 dungeon levels. Additionally, the player will have to find all the hidden treasure and key on every level to win the game.
As the player progresses each level, they learn more about the evil sorcerer’s past and his descent into darkness through ancient texts and journals. However, the player is granted only three lives in the entirety of the game, and has to start all over if they die. Once the player wins the game, they will be able to escape the dungeon safely back to the main village with an abundance of treasure.
